A view of an electricity pylon (a transmission tower) as seen from directly beneath. The lines of the structure and its wires intersect and collide to create a geometric pattern that's almost abstract.

Although built to a standard design, each pylon has its own identity. VC9 stands over Walthamstow Marshes in east London.
