The SWA is a British art body and charity, dedicated to promoting art by women. Since 1857 their annual exhibitions have showcased art by both members and non-member of the society. Usually shown in London, this year's annual exhibition is online only due to the pandemic.

As a former Walthamstow resident, Rebecca is lending her support to a campaign to stop the destruction of healthy, mature lime trees in the heart of this east London town.
Rebecca and other artists are exhibiting works reflecting on both the destruction of nature and the wider themes of humanity's role in the climate crisis. This exhibition at Ye Olde Rose & Crown pub brings together several of Rebecca's wood engravings that have previously been shown at venues around Walthamstow.

Dedicated to fine drawing skills, the society brings together professional artists from all areas of the art world who work in all drawing and printmaking media. Rebecca is a member of the SGFA, having been first elected in 2014, and has exhibited work in each annual exhibition since then.

Rebecca is taking part in an exhibition of work by 15 artists who are highlighting the decision by the local council to remove 81 mature lime trees from the Lime Tree walk in Walthamstow, east London. The artists are reflecting the urgent need to publicise this decision, as well as reflecting on how it can be seen as a symbol of man's central role in the Anthropocene.
As a former resident of Walthamstow, Rebecca has lent her support to this campaign with two new wood engravings:

- Tokushima, Japan: Hall of Awa Japanese Handmade Paper Museum and Inbe Art Space [view map]
A juried exhibition dedicated to printmaking on traditional Japanese washi paper. Since its inauguration in 2013, this event has been held every two years by the Awagami Factory in the Japanese city of Tokushima.
The aim of the event is to introduce finely crafted washi to the world's leading printmakers, and to exhibit the resulting works in a joint celebration of international printmaking art and Japanese culture.
Rebecca is taking part in this year's exhibition with a special print of
View Subterranea 8: Bethnal Green on washi. The jurors have awarded an

Rebecca has been selected for the RWA's annual exhibition for the second consecutive year, with her wood engraving
Contemplation.
The RWA features the best of painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture and architecture selected and curated by an expert panel.
This year's selection panel were: Janette Kerr, RWA President; Stephen Jacobson, RWA Vice President; David Alston, Arts Director for the Arts Council Wales; Julia Carver, Curator at Bristol Museum; Will Maw, Academician; Jason Lane, Academician; Lisa Wright, Academician and lecturer; and Lucy MacDonald from Hauser and Wirth Somerset .
